Hi nice post, i read your blog from time to time but i was wondering something. I also run a blog on a similar topic, but i get 1,000′s of spam comments and emails every day does that happen to you.. Any ideas to stop it? I currently have commenting disabled but i want to turn it back on.. Thanks!
We use a few but the best is probably Akismet. We obviously make it so we have to manually approve comments first. But, as you know, its time consuming to stay on top, but worth it.

Michael…err.. Tim, or whatever your name is, if you’re going to spam, at least stay on topic and sound intelligent. If you are touting yourself as highsearchengineoptimization, then why act like you’ve not familiar with the effectiveness of signature posting in forums?
My suggestion is if you spam, then spam like someone with a brain in their head.
